Bulbs set white in
platform ceilings
sculptures of glow-worms
and lightning bugs
and black of night
sky
runs into mucky
dusty bronze
above orange streetlights
that give life to
the nocturne
of Huddersfield town
centre tonight.
It is more awake
now than during daytime
I swear
but
I'm going home
to sleep now
regardless.
